How to get help
The fastest way to get support is to email us directly. Please include your device model, iOS version, the app version (found in Settings), and a short description of what happened. Screenshots are always helpful.
We read every message and aim to respond within two business days.

Common issues
Gmail connection
If connecting your Gmail account fails or stalls, sign out and sign back in, then grant access again at the Google consent screen. Make sure you allow the read permission CastPilot requests so it can find your audition emails.
If you previously revoked access in your Google Account settings, reconnect from within CastPilot to restore the link. CastPilot only reads messages to help you organize auditions.
Audition email import
If an audition email isn't importing, confirm your Gmail account is connected and that the message is in your inbox rather than spam or an unsynced label. Try refreshing the import in the app.
Some emails use unusual formatting that can affect detection. If a specific audition won't import, forward the details to support and we'll take a look.
PDF upload
When uploading a script or sides as a PDF, make sure the file is a true PDF (not a renamed image) and isn't password protected. Large files may take a moment to process.
If a scanned PDF doesn't read well, a clearer scan or a text-based PDF usually improves results.
AI prep
AI prep needs an internet connection and a successfully uploaded script or audition details. If prep doesn't generate, check your connection and confirm the source material imported correctly, then try again.
AI suggestions are meant to support your own preparation — always review them with your judgment as a performer.
What CastPilot does & doesn't do
- CastPilot does not send, delete, or change any of your Gmail messages. It only reads emails to help you find and organize your auditions.
- CastPilot does not currently submit to casting platforms on your behalf. It helps you prepare; you stay in control of every submission.
